Sekolah HighScope Indonesia - Rancamaya Branch was established by Suryamas in 2008 with a pre-school, and the elementary K1 school level was introduced in 2014. The HighScope curriculum is licenced from Sekolah HighScope Indonesia, an accredited school by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, USA. Sekolah HighScope Indonesia was established in 1996 by Mrs Antarina S.F. Amir, the founder and granddaughter of Mr Ki Hajar Dewantara, also known as the father of Indonesian education.

The HighScope Educational Research Foundation is an independent nonprofit research, development, training and public outreach organisation that was established in Michigan, USA in 1970 by David Weikert , PhD and today its curriculum has been licensed by many schools around the world.

The HighScope educational approach emphasizes "active participatory learning" where students have direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, events, and ideas. Children's interests and choices form the heart of the programme and they construct their own knowledge through interactions with the world and the people around them.

The HighScope educational approach is consistent with the best practices recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Head Start Program Performance Standards, and other guidelines for developmentally based programs. There are currently other HighScope Schools in Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Bali, Medan, Palembang, and Ujung Pandang.

The Group intends to further develop and grow its education and training business both in Indonesia (in the case of Highscope) and Singapore, by focusing on niche areas with a view to expanding in the region.
